I'd never seen him sliding on a Nat before. Good stuff!

Warren Haynes is an amazing guitarist, and to hear him play slide on a National is a real treat. I have that Hot Licks video. Just amazing!

Wondering what he's using as a slide...

Warren alternates his slides between a bunch of authentic coricidin bottles & 'Soulslides' ~ internally hand-painted pyrex tubes.
Slide On!

The slide he is using is a ceramic slide that was given to him while in Japan. I have the hotlicks vid of that clip. And he explains the type of slide he's using and where he got it.

You're welcome 496. If you can somehow get a hold of that Hot Licks video it's well worth it.
Peace, Jaco

Somewhere in my video tape collection is a '90's Allman Brothers Band MTV 'Unplugged' concert (with Dickey Betts still in the band). Warren plays a few tunes on an original Tricone, and Dickey plays some sweet slide on his old wood-bodied Dobro!!
Slide On!
Ian.
