Hey, I've always wondered about this studio. Given David's normal (and understandable) reticence to reveal anything about his private life, it makes this all the more amazing.
I bet it's alarmed up to the gunwhales!

Methinks they had an appointment. I presume its on the Thames - if so, do you know where it is? Not that I'm into stalking, but my father in law moors a boat down that way - maybe we could drop in as well. As least I know who David Gilmour is (and spent some cash on his wares). I also remember walking to work past Bransons 'barge' on the canal round the back of Paddington - I guess he won't be there though. TT

Hi TT Great film, Sunbury on thames is the location , its probably very secure but if you are paddling past in your boat playing Pink Floyd as loud as you can he might stick his head out of a port hole and invite you in wolvoboy

It's called "Taggs Island" and it's on the Thames between Hampton and Hampton Court, just past the rotunda called Garret's / Garrick's something or the other. It is accessible over a single lane arched bridge that looks more like a footbridge (presumably with a machine gun emplacement at the island end) I've driven past hundreds of times and wondered where the bridge went to. Now I know. David Gilmour (and / or his wife) definitely has that little something extra in the classy stakes, given what some of the rich kids blow there cash on. Like many, I'd love to shake his hand- something's bound to rub off!

Hmm - a good 30 miles from Marlow. The same father in law (when he's not on the thames) used to live next to Ozzy Osbourne, Noel Gallagher and Robert Kilroy-Silk (same house - different times). None of them seem to have passed anything decent to him though. The boat jam you posted was good, I thought. It looked like Nick Wright, or should I watch it on the PC and not the phone? TT
