Jono, I remember when this first appeared on Youtube around ten years ago. This guy certainly did a great job mimicking Robert's performance. Apart from something strange with his 5 chord, he totally nailed it. Shine On Michael

Jimmy Page playing air guitar? Whatever next! I saw this film, It Might Get Loud, in 2008 when it was released. Interestingly, in that context the Link Wray recording sounds so Led Zeppelin. I had never noticed how much Wray influenced Page until I saw this. Shine On Michael

Frank One of the more paradoxical experiences working w/ muscians Ive had was discovering that punk rockers are some incredibly thoughtful and gentle persons...

I love this song. First heard it on Steve Earle's "Train a Comin'" album in the mid 90s, and then on Emmy's amazing album "Wrecking Ball" produced by Daniel Lanois, who also happen to be playing electric guitar in this video. Townes Vandt Zandt's influence shines through in Steve's writing and delivery.

Reverend Peyton Anyone heard of this guy? Jono, I am sure a few of us know about Rev. Peyton and his band. They have been touring over here for a few years and last year I bumped into them at Shambala Festival that we were both performing at. Shine On Michael

Lee Lee, Daniel Lanois is still doing his thing. As well as various recording and production projects, which has included touring with Emmy in recent years, producing Trixie Whitley and recording some Brian Eno material. In 2018 Daniel Lanois won an award for his film soundtrack on Red Dead Redemption 2. I was never a U2 fan, but his production work for them on Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby, was nothing short of superb. It was 25 years ago now, but for me Wrecking Ball is my absolute favourite of his production and arrangement work, and it is possibly my number one Emmylou Harris album. I remember when I first heard it I was completely blown away by what they had done and at the time it was exactly where I was heading with my own recording. Shine On Michael
