Hi Michael, I hope you don't mind me asking, I'm wondering what song you are playing in the photo, and what you are playing it on. It looks like you brought 3 resonators to this performance. were they dedicated each to a specific tuning or more some of the material sounded the way you wanted it on one and you changed tunings? Peace, Harriet Thank you for your response below

Hi Harriet,
I don't mind you asking at all.
I am playing a 14 fret MM Blues in open E tuning. Looking at Michael Roach's E chord, I can tell that I am playing 'Blue Letters' in the key of E.
Unless I am travelling by air to a gig which limits me to one guitar, I always have at least two, maybe three, and more often than not, four guitars with me at gigs. On this particular gig I have my two Fine Resophonic guitars (single cone and Tricone) and the MM Blues. The FR single cone is in G and D tunings, the FR Tricone is in high bass G (GBDGBD) and the MM is in E tuning.
I like a few guitars with me because it gives me a selection of sounds to choose from and my audiences enjoy hearing the different guitars. I can and often do my whole show with one guitar, but if I can I like to have more than one. I prefer to play lap style in high bass G, but I can play most of the material in low bass G if I have to.
I hope that makes some sense and answers your question.
