Just thought I'd acquaint a few people with this forgotten classic. The "Blood Of Jesus" is one of the few remaining "race films" - obviously made exclusively for the Afro American audience. It's heavy on the southern baptist heaven/hell morality but it's a great watch! Some interesting anorak bits - at 39:50 someone puts on Black Ace's "Whiskey and Women" on the Juke Box. It's NOT the take that was released on the Decca record though. Black Ace appears briefly performing on the back of a truck - at 46:20. Take a look! www.archive.org/details/blood_of_jesus
