Hi Deuce,
That's great!
You have nothing to be nervous about. You will realise as soon as you come into a class that we run things in a relaxed and friendly way that hopefully puts everyone at ease.
I look forward to meeting you.

Don't be nervous, it's a wonderfully relaxed environment, no pressure on anyone to show themselves up and there will always be someone to help you or for you to help. Practice is always good!
If you can, try to to be there for breakfast about 8.30. That will give you a chance to meet a few folk and tutors and find out what has been going on in the classes you are thinking of taking. Don't expect to meet MM there at that time, he doesn't do early - musician's hours!

Got my confirmation today that I'm there on the tuesday. However, my letter tells me to turn up on 31st July - i don't think i'll be doing that, but any other day visitors got any good advice for where and when to turn up on the day? and how many guitars do most people bring - i was thinking of two. tt

Hi TT,
You should check with Michael Roach at Euro Blues Promotions, but I would suggest you go to the Sunley Centre at Northampton University Park Campus - arrive at 8:30 'ish
Guitars - well that is up to you, but two sounds ample to me.

Yup- I've told Mr Roach I'm coming. I can't find my cheque book so I owe him some cash... But he's been kind enough to reserve my spot!

Hi Chris,
There are two ways of connecting to the Internet at Blues Week.
You can pay the university to give to a line in your room and you can use the Internet free at the Sunley Centre, which is where we do our classes. I don't do either, I just use a dongle and then I don't need anything from anyone.

Thanks Michael,
I'm trying to leave the lap top at home for that week (its attached to me according to my wife). But ,I've just joined a Country 3 piece so need to keep in touch re set lists etc.
Presumably, in the Sunley Centre you have to use a Uni computer?
See you there!
Regards
