Have fun in Stockport Dead Finks!
It's a 400 mile round trip for me, otherwise I'd be there too.
Shine On Michael.

Cheers for that Michael, much appreciated. To be honest, there would probably be no slide tunes at all without this forum and a weekend in Pocklington ( plus Slidefest ) so Stockport you have MM to blame for the assault on your ears tomorrow
i almost forgot the MM slide video. The only "original" slide tune is one we cobbled together from a section of the mississippi one chord groove
I will try and remember all the things I should be doin, like damping, perfect vibrato etc but will probably forget it all and just go for it
As you say - HAVE FUN Cheers Rob

Well I certainly wouldn't say you were talentless I really enjoyed the gig, my kind of blues. Sorry I didn't manage to say hi, we had to leave half way through the last song of the 1st set as our baby sitter had to go at 11:00. I was really gutted that I had to leave, I especially wanted to hear 'it hurt me too' it's one of my favourite tracks. I thought your singer was great too and the fact that she plays harp was an unexpected bonus! I loved your version of the 'thrill is gone' and policeman blues was great too. Can you keep us updated with your future gigs, especially around the manchester/stockport area and next time I'll make sure I can stay until the end! ;D

I'll pass your messages onto Angie too. She's not been playin too long and has learnt from youtube lessons so will be most pleased that you enjoyed it I will of course let you know of any gigs we get in the area and look forward to meeting up. If you know of any pubs etc in Stockport / Hazel Grove etc that have bands on let me know so we can try and get some more gigs

Hey no problem, like I said I really enjoyed it.
Angie - if you were nervous it didn't show, your harp playing was great and fitted in really well with the rest of the band, especially since you've not been playing long!
If I hear of any more venues around here that you guys could play at I'll let you know.
Look forward to meeting you both soon,
Ben
