I don't know how anyone can possibly claim that battery life. It will depend on hours of use, volume used etc. It could range from 2 days to 2 years!!!

I claim to be the heir to the throne of Imperial Russia. Anyone can claim anything. But the battery life is good on those little amps. In intermittent but heavy use it gets at least a year. If you use an adaptor, set it at 6v and it gets a surprisingly rich distortion.
Anyway, it's gone now, sold somewhere, but if you see one at a car boot for £2, grab it quick.
