That does look like a good record. I like Jeff Beck's playing. Mickie Most was a great producer. I produced a Ted Hawkins album at Mickie's studio, RAK, in 1989, and spent quite a lot of time talking and learning from him. He was old school and very 'pop' based in his approach to production and he really knew his stuff. He helped me mix one of the songs and his attitude to making a record taught me a lot.
Acoustic slide, electric slide.....or even electric with no slide - good music is good music!

What a pity no-one will ever hear that album.. My two favourite Jeff Beck moments (I'm lying there are at least 20) are www.youtube.com/watch#!v=uuXcGHjBeacRollin' and Tumblin' with Imogen Heap Ever seen a strat take such a spanking? (And not a plectrum in sight) And his love of rockabilly, exemplified by this early Elvis tune www.youtube.com/watch#!v=lcIM12hIHWIMy Baby Left Me - Jeff Beck with The Big Town Playboys
