I still have a couple of grandsons spare (but nobody in their right mind would take on the 3-year old!!) so I might be able to stretch if a tricone (Spanish neck, pleeez!) came available. Might have to roll up Christmas and the conveniently-placed January birthday into one this year... Or perhaps, like the ill-schooled bluesman of old, I shall have to sell my soul to Santa . My guess is that, (apart from the obvious clues) there is something wooden, something electric and something travel sized involved?
(attributes to be distributed across plural instrumentS, probably not all applied to one single instrument..)
Am I even slightly warm?

I don't think we'll be seeing a tricone, as MM only really likes the original hollow-necked lap variety which can't be made for anything like the MM Guitars price point. Wood would certainly be the most obvious progression, and one I might be tempted by arrggghhh resist the GAS!!!!! LR

If you take a look at the Republic guitar site and the Busker site that will show you what guitars the chinese workshop makes, I would expect a new MM guitar would be a variation of one of those, maybe hehe

Josh, I am amused buy your style, but you are not even warm.
Guys, I would be more than happy to talk about our new models to you, but because of the vipers lurking on the Internet & watching my every move, I am not able to play this game.

O Michael. Is there anything on the horizon. When MM's next incarnations are going to manifest? Don't spend all your cash folks, they should be manifesting soon, only a little time seperating.

Tricones sing, are you listening? In the lights, dobros glistening! A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight, Waiting in the Messer wonderland!
Gone away is the Lightning! And the Blues? Just plain frightening! Is there a wooden single-cone I'd be happy to own Waiting in the Messer wonderland.
Out in Tywyn we can build a snowman And pretend that he is Robin Clark. He'll say 'Are you happy?' We'll say, 'No man! 'Cos Mister Messer's keeping us in the dark...'
At our age, we're used to waiting, Hanging on, anticipating; New guitars make us smile, it'll all be worthwhile Playing them in Messer's wonderland (repeat and fade...)
Ay thang yo! ;D

Brilliant, Gerry! You made my day and both my daughters days. They think it is hysterical. It is very good.
Does it have a tune?
To answer the question; there are two new MM models in the pipeline, and a few more to follow as soon as we can. It has been a busy year for our workshop in China and they have taken a lot longer to produce my prototypes than I had hoped. We are very close now!
Thank you for being so patient & understanding about why I cannot say what we are making until they are ready.

I know this is off subject but my daughter has just told me she's getting married and she's having a baby and can she "borrow" the 25% deposit for a house.
So can you tell us what the new stuff is soon before I have no money left at all, ever!

"Borrow" ?? Get that guitar quick. Then at least you can sing the 25% Blues. For you it seem that MM means marrige and money. But what are daughters for. Take care. Gouranga
