National cosmopolitan 1124B circa 1956 in lovely original condition, the only concession to modernity is new strings. Chunky straight neck, all electrics original tone & volume pots, knobs & switch selector, tuners all original and not far off being as good as new. The only bad is the headstock logo is a distant memory although the original outline remains and I have seen replacements available on the interweb. I have new commissions in the pipeline and it is time to de clutter, only one pair of hands and too many guitars for every day of the week. I will upload some images later (Done) I have taken the liberty of including a shot of Marks wonderful book, if you do not have a copy get ordering !!! I encourage personal inspection and collection and may even through in a free cup of tea alas if you cannot make it I will ship parcelforce 24hrs in a non original gig bag, and packed to death. Photo's to follow later today when the digital camera is recharged £1235.00

Hi there !
I don’t know enough about the pickups on these guitars, other than I think they are single-coil, despite looking like humbuckers.
Do you know if the pickups on your guitar have the same gubbins inside/under the nickel-plated covers, as the black plastic covered pickups of the similar models eg. Like the other guitar pictured in Makin’s book you showed ?

Not a clue what is under the hood as they are still factory sealed and not going to de solder them to find out, They honk that is the most narrative I can be !!!

They are basically single coil pickups, but not the usual design. The same as my Supro Ozark, but in a different casing. Fantastic sound.
