Hi everyone !
I wonder if you can help me find again a fab video of a slide guitarist, with a deep singing, great voice, like Chris Rea, or something. He looked like he is in his 60's, and I can't remember WHERE I saw the video - if it was on YouTube, Facebook, or on the MM Forum somewhere - possibly on the possibly on the "What are you listening to" thread on the Music Row section ?
The guitarist had very similar skills to the very excellent Kevin Brown. I think he lives in New Zealand, or possibly Australia ? Awesome artist. I was trying to recommend him to friends but can't find him.
Wish I could find this guy on the internet again.
Does anyone know who it might be from my cryptic clues ??

I thought Jeff Lang but his voice is possibly not in the range you remember, who knows, Jeff is Australian, also CW Stoneking who sounds like he was from the 30's.

Nope - neither of these guys. The guy I am thinking of, is similar age to Kevin Brown, I think. His guitar skills are just as good. In fact, after watching some videos of Kevin Brown, I started to think it WAS him. But, the gut has a deeper voice, reminded of Chris Rea, in a way.

Dave Hole was another chap from Down under, with a quirky over the neck style

No …… ! Someone a bit like if Kevin Brown & Chris Rea had a love-child together !! That would not be a successful love-child, it would be a mutation. I know both Chris and Kevin and you could not get two more opposite and different personalities. Oh and Chris makes the best coffee and panettone! Shine On Michael

Hi again !
I just remember thinking he was English, then when I clicked on something to see more of him, the location was, I think New Zealand. I remember being surprised at him not being an English guy in an English pub.
OK, can anyone think of someone in the vein of Kevin Brown, with a deeper voice, then maybe not from New Zealand, older chap - maybe mid 60's in age, or older ??
