More sad,sad news. Annie Nightingale has passed on. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-67955757I can't add much more to the BBC report yesterday other than I was fortunate to sit beside her on a flight to Lyon in the late 1980s and enjoyed one of the best flights ever. She was full of fun and her ironic sense of humour was terrific. Sleep well Annie and thanks for the fun and music.

Michael correct me if I am wrong, the Saturday evening session with GLR was that not an Annie Nightuingale show remember hearing you guys as I was cooking the tea and thinking I recognise those songs... Lee

Lee Lee, That was Mary Costello and yes I played numerous live sessions on Mary's show on BBC's Greater London Radio right through the '90s. I never met Anne Nightingale. I was at the BBC a few times when she was doing a show, but I never bumped into her. Shine On Michael
