Hi folks, I’m interested in buying a national TRICONE (TRIPLATE) mandiolin (NOT a triloian). National made a few of these in 1928 before switching to single cones. Let me know if you have one - if you’d like to sell, I’m interested, and if not I’d at least like to hear a sound sample! Thanks much.

Good price at Elderly snap it up if you live in the US, not so cheap by the time you ship to the mothership of Resonators (Europe)

Isn't that a single cone? I think that mjbee is looking for a tricone but I could be wrong on both counts.

Hi there !
Yes, that Style 1 mandolin is definitely a single-cone. You can see the black-painted wooden biscuit on the middle of the cone, under the handrest.
