A similar Blues Baby has replaced my ‘67 Princeton as my main amp. It’s half the weigh and sounds great . My only criticism would be that the Reverb is not as deep as my old Fender, so expect a more Blues Junior performance ( mine is a fairly old model and this one is much younger and may have been ‘tweeked’)
Pete
Should I have 2? I do have a stereo guitar................ On the other hand I do have a load of amps I never use, anyone want to buy a ‘63 AC30?

The weight is a big plus, and they do sound great! I'm sure I'll get another in the future.

I do have a stereo guitar................ On the other hand I do have a load of amps I never use, anyone want to buy a ‘63 AC30? I had a 15" speaker cab made up to fit my older Fender Blues Jnr - which also fitted the Award-Session Blues Baby chassis. The speaker can was wide enough to fit a "full length" Reverb Tray. The Blues Jnr and Blues Baby use different reverb trays - so I had to get additional full length trays to try out for each amp. The full-length (width ?) reverb tray really improved the reverb sound a lot. So, if you ever consider a Blues Baby being made with a cabinet made by the company, consider a larger cab (eg. 2x10") - so you can get the full-length reverb tray in there. Much better !

temporary hijack here. remain calm. keep your seat belts fastened and no one will be hurt...
Pete, is it a top boost, or does it have the top boost circuit growth on the rear of electric chassis? is it 220vac/50Hz only? do you have the OEM chromed tilt stand?
[knows that he's gonna regret this]
PM me to quit busting up thread, mitchfit
