King Biscuit Time was a radio program on KFFA in Helena, Arkansas that featured Sonny Boy Williamson II and Robert Lockwood Jr. (and other musicians later on, including Pinetop Perkins). The first KBT broadcast was in 1941, local musicians were playing music and advertising local merchandise like King Biscuit Flour.
I read about it in Biography of a Phantom by Mack McCormick (page 39) and today I stumbled upon this footage:
Most likely, this footage was shot by Max Moore, owner of Interstate Grocery in Helena, who personally recruited Sonny Boy and Robert Jr. (McCormick was talking with Moore during his visit in Helena in 1970) Unfortunately, it's silent.
Here's another video with many photos related to KBT.
There is no description of audio track, but I think it could be Robert Lockwood Jr. playing.
