Shocked! I just heard the very sad news that Bernie Marsden died last night. Bernie was 72 years old. On behalf of his family, it is with deep sadness we announce the death of Bernie Marsden. Bernie died peacefully on Thursday evening with his wife, Fran, and daughters, Charlotte and Olivia, by his side. Bernie never lost his passion for music, writing and recording new songs until the end.I knew Bernie and travelled and played with him on a few occasions. I will hunt out some photos and post them on here. Condolences to Fran and all the family X Bernie Marsden >RIP ------------------------- Shine On Michael

So sad ~ a wonderful guitarist with the perfect touch & tone for electric blues 😟
R.I.P. Bernie.

Here they are. Just a couple of pics from a show we did in March 2012 in Buckingham. Also a signed poster from an event we did, also in Buckingham, a few years earlier...I think. Signatures are Bernie Marsden, Michael Roach, Paul Oliver, Michael Messer. Phew, it's hard to believe that Bernie has gone. Shine On Michael

More sad news.
Met him once in a Bucks caff - shared a pot of tea and a rapid chat back in the late 1960s.
Good bloke all round.
Sleep peacefully young man.
