Michael This sounds so good. I am an experienced guitarist, playing bottleneck on a Fylde Goodfellow. Tracks from the new CD will be on the website soon. Is there any chance of doing a 14fret to the body version. I play a very good anti war song in open G, with the capo on 2nd but playing in D so the key is Emaj. This means I need to get the slide to the 16th fret. Regards from my partner Joanna, who is an old friend of Jackie who you knew in Hatch End. Barry Reeves www.northwestlondonblues.co.uk

Hi Barry,
Welcome to our forum and thank you for your enquiry.
The first shipment of MM guitars due to arrive in approximately three weeks will contain a very limited number of 14 fret models. If you are interested in being informed about their arrival, send an email to my distributor - robin@buskerguitars.co.uk - and we will keep you posted with delivery details.
Of course I remember Jackie (Hardy) from Hatch End! Did I know your partner Joanna? Phew....that was all such a long time ago. Fond memories.
Keep in touch,
Shine On Michael

Michael,
Do you ever get back to NW London? I am interested in a 14 fret brass Lightening but worried about the weight. I'd appreciate a chance to play one for a while and see how I feel the next day! Chronic RSI has made the left shoulder weak. Barry

Hi Barry,
Yes I do as I still have connections in that area. I would be happy to meet you and show the guitars. When they arrive we can work something out.

Hi Michael Let me be the first to tell you ....... what a fantastic looking guitar , I love the nickel plated finish on it , I am not to keen on decorative engraving but this one works really well, I would love to hear what it sounds like
Congrats ....... Growler

Thanks Growler. I am very pleased with MML001. They have done a great job of work. It has taken longer than we had hoped to get this first batch as we want them, but it was worth the effort and the wait. This guitar sounds great, feels lovely and has an authentic 1930s look to it. That is everything I had hoped for. I will post some sound samples ASAP.

Hi Michael I have just noticed the " Owners Manual " that comes with your guitar , i think this is an excellent bit of memorabilia to give the purchaser as an extra, apart from giving you the serial number, it is nicely designed and has interesting and useful information on it. I remember about 20 years ago back when I bought my Lowden it came with the same sort of thing which meant a lot to me then, I still have it in my possession, it's a nice touch. It's just something you do not see nowadays........... just a quick sale , a boring old receipt that you eventually loose anyway , thats if you are like me. Regards Growler

Thanks Growler. I like that old fashioned approach of everything being done well and giving the customer as much as possible for the price, rather than the opposite. Most guitars used to come with a little owner's manual. I thought it would be a nice touch. Each manual is signed and serial numbered by me using a proper dip pen & ink. No felt tip pens around here!
