Hi TN Pat,
To help you out of the silence....
About 3 days ago I had a phone talk with Robin Clark concerning info about the Busker Deco and then he told me he just was bizzy doing the first set up for MM Blues 28. He also said they sound real fine from the beginning and thinks he will do one set up a day, to each customers individual wishes. After the 4 years of development Michael has mentioned, I think those additional couple of weeks are peanuts. Soon we will hear already some customer reviews I think.
Kind Regards Erwin

my brother ordered one (rather late) but there's a chance he should get one. I hope he gets it by Christmas so I can get to try it when I come back for a seasonal visit!

That is great news, Mike! I am really looking forward to mine, which shall be my first resophonic. Any tunes you guys intend to play to christen her once she is in your hands? I am still a relative novice at slide, but usually find myself picking simple gospel melodies, like "I'll Fly Away", "Will the Circle..." , or "Amazing Grace ". I definitely see a "Walking Blues" in there!

I thought the same, surprisingly no MM on the handrest....maybe on the side of the headstock... Anyway congratulations, looks beautiful...now we are awaiting a first sound review from the lucky owner.

What a beauty indeed! I can't see a logo on the front of the headstock either,or is it just in the shadow of the case? Anyway,it looks fantastic! Oh lucky man! *Sits and waits patiently for news of mine.*

Just before this first shipment of MM BLUES '28 guitars was about to leave for the docks in Shanghai, we were informed that they had a problem with MM coverplates and that not all of the guitars would have them. I was going to hold the them back until the new coverplates could be fitted, but that was going to take a month to have a new batch made. We didn't want to wait yet another month, so we went with the plain coverplates. As with all things hand built, there are variations and some of this first batch of 28s have plain coverplates. It will give future collectors some confusion!
