Dear all, Hope everyone's well. Just a quick shout out/ask, to get your feelings and thoughts on the mind boggling array of humidifiers out there. I'm yet to buy any, hence the query.
I have two guitars in particular, that I'd like to care for, above and beyond, due to their age. These two are generally kept in cases. Any suggestions gratefully received, as to which might be best suited, and do the job on the tin.
As a footnote, one is a carved, round sound hole arch-top, the other is a pressed top, arch-top with 'f' holes.
Many thanks, in advance, for your thoughts and assistance. π

I think variations in temperature and humidity are the possible problems when storing guitars. Finding a place with the least fluctuations is the way to go. I think opinions are split on keeping guitars in their cases. I keep mine on good quality stands and wall hangers. My most 'delicate' guitar, a kalamazoo kg14 has been on a stand for the years I've had it with no ill effects. I had read somewhere that keeping this particular guitar in a case with no airflow caused a chemical reaction on the tiger stripe scratchplate and that's why so many have been replaced. Of course it also depends on where you live, Florida everglades are usually different from west London, maybe not so much at the moment! ππΈπ
