The Mack McCormack collection is well known and is and does have some amazing stuff. I am sure it is a great compilation.

I can hear the conversation at Smithsonian Folkways. So by just releasing it on vinyl they only need a few tracks per disc, 65 tracks in total, rather that CDs that would take 25, maybe more per disc. They also get the opportunity of selling volume two.

A friend of mine is in the business of creating desirable box sets that sell for a lot of money, some up around £500 a go.
