This thing was in a very sorry state when I got it. It’s had some rebuilding and replaced parts so not original by any stretch Its 1974 to my best guess, info from previous owner and a bit of research. Double string trees were introduced in ‘74 and by 1976 bodies were ash and weighed a ton 24” scale. 40mm nut width. C shape neck. 7.5lbs. Alder body Original neck, body, bridge, knobs All the rest is replacement. Pick guard, tuners, bone nut, control platt, pots The first 5 frets have been replaced with bigger fret wire Swimming pool route Theres no stamps p serial numbers on neck or body The neck has a very old crack repair with pins in the side of the headstock Refinished with a super thin coat of amber nitro The pots are too small for the knobs, they slip on the shafts and are packed out with tape. The nut is 0.5mm further away from the first fret on the bass side than the treble. I did not notice this from either looking or playing it. If the bridge is lowered to any less or around 2mm then it chokes out in a couple of places, low E on the 3rd, high E 12th for example I play with a high action and genuinely never noticed It’s one of those things that is definitely best viewed first but I’m still happy to post it See photos for general condition, it’s been abused and very well used. It’s up together and playing well The pickup is Tonerider Alnico II blues. 250k pots It’s an old usable Fender for not a kings ransom £475 posted Thanks

Kind of a hopeless post but if the buyer of this ever decides to move this on. I would be interested
