Check and check again the screw hole positions, the diameter of the headstock holes and the bushing dimensions. If something can go wrong it will. Even just last year, I bought a set of genuine Kluson machine heads in nickel plate to replace the hideous chrome ones on my Firewood Zeebrabird. They were sold as exact replacements for the Gibsons with "updated engineering", presumably in the lamentable gear "train". Guess what- the bushes didn't fit (too small). I was forced to re-use the existing chrome ones. I'm sure that Kluson made the originals so it's unforgiveable. (They also shorted me one screw so I have one chrome screw too.) If you don't already have one, for under a tenner, acquire an inexpensive caliper to zoom in on exact(ish) measurements.
e&oe ...

The spacing of the new Klusons was at least 2mm wider than the originals . ( I think I posted a thread about it at the time but I did a quick search and couldn’t find it) Pete
