This combo is barely used (never gigged) and in immaculate condition, except for the little black plastic cap on the DI ground switch that has gone missing (see picture). The switch still works and I’m sure a replacement can be found somewhere. Sold with a padded Hotcovers fitted cover with cable pocket and Velcro under-strap that holds the cover in place when transported.
If you don’t know these amps, they are very versatile. 250 watts into a 15” speaker and separate tweeter . Loud and light (17kg), if not quite up there with those old Ashdown combos but you don’t have to be built like Arnie to move it. It has 2 x TCE proprietary TonePrint slots: built in effects that you can change on the fly using your mobile/tablet and the free app. It also has a built in bass tuner that works with 4-6 string basses. There is a mute switch and a balanced DI out. The effects and mute can be switched on and off with a 3 button foot switch (not included). Pretty much any 3 button foot switch will work, so you won’t have to shell out on the TCE version. This makes it a very self-contained unit: no need for separate pedals, cables, etc. Just rock up with your amp, foot switch and bass, have a beer and chill while your guitarists struggle to set up all their different boxes and cables.
If is it is so good, why am I selling? Well fate would have it that, before lockdown, I played through a Barefaced One10 cabinet and separate amp head at a jam. Each Barefaced weighs about 7 kilos and sounds huge but costs you. I now need to recover some of the cost of 2 Barefaced cabinets and a TC Electronic head (smitten by those built in effects).
Priced for quick sale at £170. Try/collect from Fakenham, Norfolk. Prepared to meet/deliver within 50 miles or so. I do have the original box and in extremis would courier at buyers cost and risk on receipt of full payment but it comes up big, so it is going to be expensive and the insurance can’t be trusted.
