Looking forward to this film having lived in Germany and the UK through the whole Beatles phenomenum.
Right age, right places, right time - I'm a lucky man.
Please note the simple, all in the same room at the same time, recording techniques which produced magical music with feeling in those days.
Please also note the presence of the real fifth Beatle - his name was Sir George Martin - regardless of any other idiots who claim that post.

GIven the amazing job he did with "They Shall Not Grow Old" (restoring vintage World War I footage and mixing it with both interviews from surviving soldiers and reproduced audio), I have to assume this will be equally fantastic.

Please also note the presence of the real fifth Beatle - his name was Sir George Martin - regardless of any other idiots who claim that post. The fifth Beatle was indeed none other than Sir George Martin. Billy Preston came close at the end, but George was an equal member of the creative force from day one. In 2001 I had the pleasure of spending some time with George Martin. He was charming and wonderful to be around. The first thing he said after we had been introduced, was to ask "What do YOU do". He was such a warm person to be around, and much to my surprise, quite a fan of steel guitar in its various forms, especially country Dobro playing. So we babbled for too long about all the usual slidey stuff, as we all do. Sadly, at 75 years old, George was losing his hearing, so I had to speak quite loud to be heard. He said to me that I was not to waste time because Mother Nature works in mysterious ways. Clenching his fist and looking up towards the sky he exclaimed..."My hearing of all things!" I am very much looking forward to seeing this film. Anything Beatles and I'm on the floor in pieces. Shine On Michael
