What an absolute cracker- flippin' great Jono. Is it USA built? I've heard good things about the Pacific Rim models because they're not so heavily built as the USA ones. Either way it's a catch Mate.

Thanks Stevie ..no its the far eastern made one .but quality is brilliant ..and is the earlier GAD model which comes with the hard case ..similar spec to the later Westerly model but with a narrower nut width.. and black pick guard instead of a tortoise shell one. Anyone know where a can get a tortoise shell one to fit a 00?

Hi again Jono. When I replaced a beat up pickguard I bought a sheet of self adhesive pickguard material in tortoise shell pattern (there were lots to choose from). I then used the old guard as a template and cut a new one using a craft knife. That way I got a perfect fit. Lots of suppliers online, it was nice quality stuff at not a lot of money. Hope this helps. 😎👍

I have some if you want to go down the DIY route Pete It looks best with a pale background, or gold for extra sparkle. You may find one on line which already has a self adhesive backing.( my stuff needs very thin double sided tape)

Those GADs are really well made and sound good. I think it gave Guild a bit of a shock. Why would you pay 5 times as much for a USA build? I think that is why they diluted the series later on, to make the USA made guitars have an edge.
I hade a beautiful OM GAD and I still have an F212 that is built like a tank. Twin truss rods, I guess to compensate for any neck twist from the extra pressure of 12 strings. Incredible close grained, silked spruce top and nicely matched mahogany back and sides. Real quality.
I am sure you are going to love that M120. Apparently Nick Drake played a 120 almost exclusively towards the end of his time (Pink Moon), etc.
Best, Pat

Yes, $24US included shipping to Canada; don't know about UK shipping. Very nice color & thickness with self-adhesive backing & bevelled edge.

Lovely guitar Jono! I bought one a few years ago, came with a really cool greyish coloured tweed hard case. Great fingerpicking guitars, wish i still had it.
