Two friends of mine have started their own acoustic blues podcast radio shows and need to get some people listening and following, so make sure you have a listen to... The first show, a podcast presented by Richard is mostly pre-war blues and can be found at www.mixcloud.com/wmpb/The second show, also a podcast, is presented by Mendip Slim is mostly contemporary acoustic blues and can be found here www.mixcloud.com/MendipSlim/Also I should mention friend, David Freeman, a veteran of British radio and TV, who presents Blues & Boogie every Sunday at 5pm on JazzFM at planetradio.co.uk/jazz-fm/presenters/david-freeman/Of course there is The Blues Show With Carys Matthews on BBC Radio 2 at 9pm on a Monday night - www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0b25mg0Cerys also presents a great show of mostly world music, but also covers whatever she wants to play, which is on BBC 6 Music on Sunday mornings at 10am - www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00llg30I know of dozens of blues, world, folk and roots radio shows and podcasts around the world that are worth a listen, and maybe this is a good way of starting a new thread. Please add radio shows and podcasts that are worth a listen. Not just blues, but any type of music that fits into this forum. Shine On Michael

I have been encouraging people to listen to Steve Cushings Blues Before Sunrise for over 20 years. Originally as a broadcast, and now online. Swing, gospel, R&B, prewar, electric...all music pre-1970. Hour 4 each week is my go-to... www.bluesbeforesunrise.org/
