Anyone have experience with the European Bediaz brand of Weissenborn style slide guitar? Have found one for sale in Ontario; a Model 4. Or the Gold Tone model that is no longer being made? Found one in NY priced about double the Bediaz. Weissenborns are HOT these days...

I've heard some troubles about Bediaz, seems like bridges aren't carrefully glued. I've see A Goldtone Style4 limited edition, with a serious mistake on the back, looks like the bars are glued under high humidity, so the back is curved the wrong way, like pushed inside, too bad cause it looks pretty but sound not so impressive. The "SM" series have a good reputation, I've met some good musicians touring with these...If it could help...
