You're getting there Jon. Your playing has really come on since I last heard you. Just keep doing it over and over and over, and then some more. Oh...and then more.
I am really pleased that you are happy with the guitar.

Excellent Jono--you've really got the RJ sound nailed at the 12th.fret. Bit more attack at the lower end of the fretboard and you're there! As an aside, and speaking as a confirmed slaphead,it's interesting to see people's lockdown hairstyles.

Come on in my Kitchen is possibly the simplest of RJs numbers but also the most difficult to play ‘right’. As Graeme says, you’ve got the notes nailed, next comes the hard bit, getting it to sound like RJ! Pete Good luck

Jono. keep going, it sounds great, and "sing" the song in your head whilst you're playing - I find that helps, too.

a side note Michael ..how does the serial number system get worked out on the 28'S? Hi Jono, The numbering system is simple - first three digits are the batch number and the next three digits are the instrument number from that batch. The numbers are not related to the model, the prefix MMB is what does that. Play....more and more and more and more! Shine On Michael

cool .. may i ask please why the year of manufacturing wasn't used in the serial number process? ...because my numbers must match the factory's despatch numbers, otherwise there is no trace if I have a problem with an instrument. OMI used to put the year of manufacture on the number, but National never did. The signed owner's manual, personal note and receipt, all have the date of purchase, which apart from in January is the year of manufacture. It is all done to get the future version of Mark Makin very confused! Shine On Michael
