An interesting effect. I do have a guitar with a Fernandez Sustainer which does similar things ( though in a slightly different way). If you were to use the bar as the bridge would it still ‘drive’ the strings?( so it would be fixed to the top upside down) With the Sustainer you can only use the bridge pickup, and the ‘drive’ comes from the neck ‘pickup/driver) this look a more flexible system. It looks interesting. It is a clever idea and it could be a popular product.
Producing something like that has to be done in large numbers to make it cost effective. IMHO, the way to kick start this idea properly into being a worldwide product, would be to talk to someone like Simon Keats about doing a licensing deal to get Origin Effects to produce it.
