Thought you guys might like to see this Homemade by Jesse Davey from 90's Blues band called "The Hoax" in 1998 by literately tracing around a strat body then shaping it and carving out the middle to make it hollow..he must of slipped with the blade as he had to cover up a gap with masking tape. the pickups in the front and middle position are underwound "Texas Specials" and the bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan. Because it was never lacquered the finish has aged quite nicely. The hoax had a very successful album and tour with Jesse using this guitar and i saw it being played many times until i bought it off him in 2005. below the pics is a video talking about it.

Thanks Jono, I now know one of the contributors to my bu88ered ears after playing gigs with them in the olden days.
One of the loudest pub bands (next to The Hamsters) I ever experienced.
Children, you don't have to be this loud to get a great sound and entertain an audience like SRV:

Hi Malcolm
Yes they were rather loud .. Jesse is real SRVhead like myself.. and played with the same amount of amps and at the same volume. like all music Stevie was an acquired taste .. not heard many people get close to his feel and tone . Did you play with them much?

Our little band played a few venues with them. A nice bunch of guys who were fun but, by gollygosh, they were loud!
