Hi Chris
What price bracket and what type of case. Is it for the fiddle edge?

I needed one for a squareneck some years ago, couldnt find one so got a pod type case and cut the round neck cradle part (polystyrene) carefully with a serrated breadknife to accomodate the squareneck shape and it worked a treat. Still in use today.

Hi Chris--again, I use a TKL square neck case for my 16H fiddle edge...no need for any reworking of the neck support--it's also great for my National tricone square neck guitar.

For clarification on National body shape / size, do Nationals conform to Martin guitar shapes, close enough that a specific shape/size guitar case would fit vintage Nationals - and if so, what size/shape should we be looking for ? For instance, would a OO guitar case fit a vintage National ? eg. this one : www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Sigma-00-12th-Fret-Acoustic-Guitar-Case/19EFMany thanks for your help on this, as I'm never sure what is the ideal size for a vintage National.

I have always bought classical guitar cases for National guitars. I am not sure about the Martin, but I think it will be too big. I haven't checked, but I think this might fit better. www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Sigma-Classical-Acoustic-Guitar-Case/19ECThese cases come from the same manufacturer as I use for cases, so finding the same case without Sigma stamped on it should be a bit cheaper Shine On Michael

Till squareneck case Kris one case and three options, the Duolian would have a similar profile to your fiddle edge and it fits well, the Tricone would need a bit of padding to bring the body up or reduce the neck pocket a little. Lee
