Hi all, I found this while serfing and wanted to share it. Ive always dreaded a metronomes boring click ding and my playing suffers rhythmically from a lifetime avoiding it... headphone out into a little practice amp and its like having Zig Modeliste to groove with. all best, jeff

It sounds fun jamming with it, yes! But for the purpose of learning how to keep my timing I stick with my boring click :-) But I use it in different ways. For example if I have the click at 180, then I can go to 90 to see how well I do, then to 45. Or I might play on the 2 and 4 (if the rhythm is a 4/4), or I might start on the upbeat. Plenty of things to try with a simple click: crossrhythms, polyrhythms, triplets, etc. Having silence between the clicks makes me concentrating on how to carry the groove. Frank
