Hi all, I found this while serfing and wanted to share it. Ive always dreaded a metronomes boring click ding and my playing suffers rhythmically from a lifetime avoiding it... headphone out into a little practice amp and its like having Zig Modeliste to groove with.

It sounds fun jamming with it, yes!
But for the purpose of learning how to keep my timing I stick with my boring click :-)
But I use it in different ways. For example if I have the click at 180, then I can go to 90 to see how well I do, then to 45.
Or I might play on the 2 and 4 (if the rhythm is a 4/4), or I might start on the upbeat. Plenty of things to try with a simple click: crossrhythms, polyrhythms,triplets, etc.
Having silence between the clicks makes me concentrating on how to carry the groove.
