Forum member and friend of many of us on here, Gerry Cooper from Shipley, has written and recorded a guitar instrumental for the Bert Jansch Foundation's project 'Around the World in 80 Plays'
Although Gerry, known on here as Gerry C, rarely posts on the forum these days, I am sure he would be very happy for me to share it with everyone.
Well done Gerry!

Many thanks for posting the link, Michael. It was a labour of love, as Jansch was (still is) a tremendous influence on my non-slide playing. Gerry C

Many thanks for posting the link, Michael. It was a labour of love, as Jansch was (still is) a tremendous influence on my non-slide playing. Gerry C My pleasure, Gerry. I love the whole thing that you have done, the introduction and the music. It’s genuine and passionate, and your composition is very Janschish. Is that a word! I met Bert a few times, he was a great man and totally self-effacing. As a guitarist there is no doubt that he was special. Shine On Michael

I love Bert Jansch's playing and singing. Incredible feel. A fine tribute by Jerry. I saw Bert Jansch twice, once solo in the late 70s, and once with Pentangle on their farewell tour in 2008. He was incredible.
