Jono - buy the ticket and go see 'em.
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, JUST DO IT!!!!!
£35 is well worth it wherever the seat is in The Palladium!
GO - you lucky boy!
You'll kick yourself if you don't!!!!!!

That's my favourite DTB track (if you can have a favourite that is.) SWMBO likes the raga based ones best and still gets an occasional fix whenever they do Midnight in Harlem because of the intro. More love for Mike Mattison!
Unfortunately, and this is subjective, that's all round too messy. DTB was a five piece. There's too much going on there, and (again subjectively) I've witnessed better solo breaks from Derek.
Despite what I've just written, I sure hope they do that at The Palladium.

The forum police have busted this thread and removed some of the posts.Let's stay with the music..... ]Perhaps a 'TTB UK Tour' private message group should be set up so that meeting arrangements and tickets are not discussed on the public forum. (I'm not sure which emoji to use!) > >Thanks Shine On Michael

Great examples of thumb-damping by Derek (on the Tiny Desk concert) if you play with a lot of gain it helps keep the unused strings quiet, (it works well on an acoustic ) hopefully we will see this on the 28th...........

Re TTB great set, loved it. Three straight lifts from Mad Dogs and Englishmen which must be coming up to 50 years anniversary soon (The Letter, Bird on a Wire and Space Captain BTW). Ideal for a band of this size and expertise. Didn’t meet anybody, thought I caught a glimpse of Pete1951’s head on the way out but couldn’t catch up. Any way great gig.

Home now from seeing TTB. In my subjective opinion they were better tonight than last night and by some margin too. OTOH last night I went with Best Beloved, and she enjoyed last night's show. My goodness but the boy can play. I don't think there's a single weak link in that 12-man / woman lineup. e&oe...Im curious as to how long their sets were... Allman Bros would regularly play until johnny silverstar pulled the plug. I get the impression that this band is more of a family than a biz and really is an extension of the Allmans... Susan was living in New Orleans in the 90s and although Ive never met her I did go to a few of her shows here. Always felt like being in someone's living room... www.offbeat.com/articles/derek-trucks-talks-back/edit: duaneallman.com/life/found another picture of myself on the web... lol Watching the allman family band jam at the park when I was 13. www.allmanbrothersband.com/index.php?module=My_eGallery&do=showpic&gid=23&pid=5427&orderby=dateD

There was an intermission. Approximately one hour followed by another 1 hour 45 minutes. Nothing like Led Zeppelin doing 5 and a half hours for five nights at Earls Court. Times have changed!
