What albums of Derek trucks can you recommend please? His own band rather than Allman Brothers ..

"Songlines" and "Already Free", but YMMV. Notice that doesn't include TTB. They are fantastic live and I'd always move other commitments to see TTB, but in the slot it's always DTB for me. I regret the demotion of Mike Mattison, and the great appeal of the TTB oeuvre is insufficient compensation for the sidelining of the old more "World Music" back catalogue. As usual, everything changes and I am slated to see them both nights at The Palladium, but I do regret never seeing DTB.

What Stevie says./\
I have been fortunate enough to see the DTB in their very early days with Yonrico Scott on drums more than once - incredible nights out. (sorry Stevie).

I saw Yonrico at Sutton's Boom Boom Club beating down for Royal Southern Brotherhood with one of the Neville brothers working the crowd and (I think) Jimmy Vaughan's son on guitar. As you say- brilliant. I apologise if my memory is playing tricks on me?
