Thought I would share my latest acquisition. Very early Stella. Spruce and mahogany. Rare. How about that rope binding! I have played many Stellas but this is something else! Still the classic Stella punch but also rich creamy over and under tones with lots of sustain. I’m a happy boy. As a bonus it has a straight neck and no bellying. This is a new experience for me Can’t work out how to post images directly i.imgur.com/ImhgEWL.jpgi.imgur.com/0oY3p4s.jpgi.imgur.com/wN7rklX.jpg

She’s a beaut. Have you played one before? I’d love to have a shoot out between yours, a Hauver and a Stella

Hi again !
Not sure about Hauver guitars, but with Fraulini's at least, you can specify what woods, trim etc your guitar will be made with. I haven't played either brands BUT I have heard more Fraulinis - almost all from YouTube videos though - and I feel they REALLY nail the ladder braced sound. I'll soon find out. My one has a spruce top, white oak back & sides, and Poplar neck.
