Hello all, Got myself a zoom hn4, dug out some old gear and am making some ms stereo recordings of my guitar scratching. I'm looking at different options for posting audio... I can't get into my old YouTube acct. any Russian hackers out there ? User name is Poppavox. My ?, Is anyone using Chirbit to post audio. If so, Whatcha think of it? Seems like band camp and soundcloud are oriented towards those willing to back their ambitions with $&£. Chirbit is limited to 120mb, but that shouldn't be any issue with a mono recording lasting 2:30. Any other Audio posting options that I've missed ? Fwiw, MS or mid side stereo recording can be collapsed to MONO without phase cancellation. Muchas Gracias Muchachos e Muchacha Jeff

You should be able to reset a youtube account, but you could also get a new email account at gmail or yahoo and open a new account if you don't have any account with either to begin with. Here's the link to starting the recovery process: www.youtube.com/account_recovery I'm not sure about soundcloud as consistent all mobile devices - so if you post there, you might want to check on android if they distort the soundfile at all. Mine were so bad on my android that I took everything down. Look forward to hearing you. Good luck, Harriet

Thanks H, My YouTube acct has stuff from ten years ago. I can't remember last week, much less what email or password I used to sign in back then. I will probably try and open a new utube act. I'm wondering what software you use to edit the images in your utube postings. I appreciate the saved bandwidth on my data plan connection. Did you get the irig ? If so, how's it working for you? I'm still trying to do this without buying another new device. I'd rather buy strings and food than replace a functional piece of gear made obsolete by crappy software. Uphill battle, I know. Back to practice. One and a two, whatcha gonna do. All best, jeff

Hi Jeff,
I didn't get the irig - I found instructions as to how to record into garageband with 2 usb connected mics instead and I already had the mics and didn't want to spend any more money on devices same as you. If you don't want to go to the trouble of making a youtube video, maybe Chitbit, or Clyp but it might not be a big issue with photos as youtube has a creator studio and you already know how to upload photos.
I'm not familiar with the zoom so I don't know how you would make a youtube video starting from that device or if it's relevant but I use Adobe Photoshop software that I had gotten from my commercial illustrator days to edit my photos -
Best, Harriet
