coincidence.... Johnny Shines was a friend of Kent Duchaine in his later life. Kent is currently the subject of another thread on here. This photo is tiny, but it is Kent, Leadbessie and Johnny Shines This song, 16 gauge steel, is about Johnny Shines Shine On Michael

Here's some super 8 footage of Shines from Vienna 1975 palying in a private home, with glimpses of him in transit, playing. There's a bit of an introduction to this. The slide playing starts around 12:17. Glad they were able to put this together from silent footage - composited with a sound file.

Thanks Michael ..less of coincidence then you might think. Wikipedia told me about kent's connection with Johnny Shines ..so i went digging for a god interview of Kent. Which brought me to the Shines interview..good friend of RJ!
