That is a beautiful instrument!
I am another person touched by the joy of SpongeBob Squarepants - I have recently started watching it with my 2 year old. I'm also a massive fan of the Pogues, so the detail about Pogues-inspired drumming was a particularly wonderful piece of trivia for me.
I am sure you will find a good home for that guitar - I was briefly considering it until I saw what nice El Trovadors are going for recently and extrapolated to what your Estralita might be worth 😅.
You're definitely in the right place to get good honest advice - I've had the pleasure of meeting both Michael and Mark Makin, you won't find a more generous and honest pair of resonator experts anywhere.
Regarding the Trojan/Estralita differences, in my mind it's best illustrated by my recollection that a forum member once had one restored from what would be considered far beyond reasonably saving even for a fine vintage instrument because they really are so remarkably rare compared to many of the other National models.
