Hi Michael
From what I can see you are in the process of setting up a new distributor. I am intersetd in buying a steel bodied blues guitar. Are you able at this point to say when you will be in a postion to take my order and provide a delivery date. I would also be interested to know how a 14 fret guitar would differ from a 12fret, apart from the additional frets making access to higher notes easier; any downsides, and why you might choose a 12 fret over a 14 fret.
Thank you and good luck with the new venture. David

Hi Michael:
Do you have a Lightning in stock? Also, is there somewhere that describes the neck profiles for each of your models?
Thank you,
Ian

Hi Ian,
Thank you for your enquiry and interest in MM guitars.
I do not have any Lightnings at present. The next shipment is due in early December.
All the information and details are on the MM Guitars page on my website, but not the neck profile. This is not a question that gets asked very often; The necks are all handmade and therefore can vary..... C shaped, leaning towards a soft V on some. The fretboards have a very slight radius.
Thanks,
Shine On Michael

Hi Steve, Welcome to our forum. MMB0165 09 is nickel-plated steel. Have fun stripping off the paint! Shine On Michael I stripped the paint off mine, as did a few others on here. I used a generic paint stripper, protecting all the wood and bare steel parts. I took the cover-plate off and stripped that separately The paint on mine came off very easily, I had to do very little extra bits

Hi Michael,
What’s the current ETA for the next shipment of MM guitars? Are they still expected late February/early March?
Many thanks,
Han

Hello Han,
Good to hear from you.
There has been a delay due to some changes in my business and a new partnership being set up. Also the factory shuts down for a few weeks for the Chinese New Year.
The next shipment is due for delivery to me at the end of April/early May. By the time the guitars have been checked and set up, I suspect that mid to late May is a realistic ETA to deliver to customers.
We are now taking orders for the next shipment and while there are only a handful confirmed at this point in time, by the time they arrive I think most will be spoken for.
Thanks
Very best wishes
Shine On Michael.

Hi Michael and forum members, tried posting somewhere else on the site must have got it wrong, anyway this is just to say I was looking for a mm lightning and didn't know how to order on the site, I also know most are spoken for before the arrive, however just by chance I got in touch with buskers and found out they had a lightning in their workshop which I swiftly purchased, although they no longer stock mm guitars Robin was very helpful as his is my first reso, I am managing to get some sounds out of it, and what a sound, all round fantastic guitar if I manage to master this of sorts I think a mm blues could be next, ps great forum lots of helpfull comments.will look in on the site frequently for tips and tricks thanks J. From near Edinburgh Scotland.

Hi snake hips, thanks, once I learn to play it, I'm Rosewell, are you near? Are there any good reso teachers in the area you could recommend and any good techs for resonater guitars in case I need a good or different set up further down the road.
