If only I had seen this sooner, I'd have bought it instantly. What a cool uke!

I did see it and I did buy it instantly! Time to stop lusting! I think I hold the forum record for a tin can alley purchase, again from Pete, 32 minutes from ad to sold. Early bird and all that!
Best wishes to you all, John

What does the back look like, and do the tuners hold their tuning ?

The back is lightly flamed solid maple. Original (?)friction pegs work fine. Pete Some finish damage on the back of the neck ( capo?)

Hi again !
Thatโs simply gorgeous, that uke !
Iโm still in love with my 5-string Belotona though, so Iโd miss it having the low A string of my one

I know some of you were worried she wouldn't be happy in her new home, well here she is after a wash and polish and new set of strings. Getting to know her little brother who is quite a bit noisier! I'm not used to the tuners yet, but I'm sure I'll get used to them. Best wishes to you all, John

Hi everyone. Enjoying my new uke although the friction tuners are a new thing to me and are taking some getting used to. What with the new strings stretching out and my not being used to the tuners a couple of strums and I'm retuning. Settling down now though, does have a very 'jazzy' sound that I'm enjoying. Reason for the post is the case, which I take to be the original as it is so well made and fits snugly. I noticed when cleaning it a makers mark stamped on the handle with a patent number. I'll post some pictures and see if anyone has come across this manufacturer.

Oh Johnny! You could try lubricating the friction posts with Sensitol.
