The Repair Shop usually repair odd things of sentimental value with a back story, tonight the listing says they are repairing ( as well as a doll and a piece of sculpture) a vintage steel guitar. Could be of interest.

I'm a little confused Pete. I've just had a shufti at the BBC website (for more info) and the only musical instrument mentioned on the show advertised for tonight is a clarinet. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000xyvrHave I missed something? |

Last week should have been the clarinet, but it was cancelled because of a football , they may put that one on this week, or they may run the scheduled program which ( according to my newspaper) has the ‘steel guitar ‘. Hopefully we wouldn’t have to wait till next week, who can tell?

Seems everyone’s confused, including the bbc - they have two different listings for series 8 episode 4, including this one that features the steel bodied guitar and today’s date, but says ‘not currently available 🤷🏼♂️ link |

Jools is a very good luthier and looks after my instruments, always a pleasure to drop in to collect something that will undoubtedly be playing much better.
