Thanks Jon, great photos.
It was so good to be back out playing for a live audience and thanks to everyone for a great reception. I don't think anyone in the venue, including myself, has ever been to any type of live performance where the performer has not been out in front of an audience for so long. I also don't think it is a common occurrance that the whole audience, the sound crew and the venue staff are all wearing masks. for two and a half hours I was the only person in the whole venue not wearing a mask. It's going to take a while for society to recover from this extraordinary period in our world.

Thankfully Jono failed to heed the employee who shuffled up unseen from behind and advised him of how much his camera screen was distressing the other members of the audience ... and also (I suppose) the ticket condition expressly forbidding photography and non-airplane mode 'phones. I don't know where we're "at" right now, but T.F.F. Jono. +10!

Jon Jono, As you know I have close family connections with live music photography and have been around it almost all my life. You did well to get those photos from your seat. It was a shame they wouldn't allow you to move, but I think the venue staff were all very nervous. It was their first show and they had all probably had a few meetings and many emails about the restriction rules. I have posted some of your photos in an article written about the show by Lorraine Lucas. michaelmesser.proboards.com/thread/12725/michael-messer-solo-retrospective?page=5Shine On Michael
