Martin Carthy's guitar was stolen last night from a venue in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire.
The more people that know, the more chance there is of finding it.

***Update - according to Martin Simpson, Martin Carthy's guitar is safe ! Phew !*** Martin Carthy's Martin guitar has gone missing after a gig in Beverley last night (theft suspected but unconfirmed). Please share - the power of social media has been known to return instruments to their rightful owners. The guitar's a Martin 000-18 MC Martin Carthy Signature Edition, and has the following distinguishing features as per the photos below : A zero fret (not many Martin 000-18's have a zero fret), and the unique identifiers on the label inside the guitar (Martin's signature and name). The guitar was in a soft black case too.
