I recently posted a group picture on the National model D post and not wishing to divert that any further as Snakehips commented prompting me to update the photo album, this is not it, just what is to hand and in one piece as too many projects and one pair of hands.... A nice problem to have I guess but the GAS has a good grip and has caused the guitars to come and go over the years hence the update. 1st photo is five or so years ago and then a round up from today Acoustics & Resophonics Electrics

This was around 2005/6, Phil Thorne spirited the red National away to a Channel Island new home, the reso mando is long gone (I like the idea of mandolin but have still yet to master the guitar). The Shiny metal one is a Dave King built with the left over Bill Johnson bodies (he had six or so) is also gone although my name is on the neck stick in red felt tip from when it was being built. The Dobro is a Gann (one man shop) in the US, it is in a case awaiting re-assembly due to vigourous changes, new fingerboard awaits. The Lap steel is part of the Hofner factory left over parts sold by Brandoni music at a Wembley guitar show, they had a stack of bodies at £15 each (Bargain) I have since acquired another although paid about £30 or so and an original bridge, still deciding on pickup combo The Dave King tele is a keeper, original 52 Horseshoe that I had from a tatty NS Rickenbacher, Soapbar fro ebay and Dave did the rest, it then featured in Guitarist magazine (twice). Regards Lee
