Hi!
I received my Blues28 recently, it truly is a fantastic guitar!
Already had a little accident with it though, as it slipped from it's stand the other day and fell to the ground. Nothing too serious, but being relatively new to resonator guitars, I was wondering in what proportion such an incident, which unfortunately happens from time to time, could impact negatively a luthier's setup, in this case Michael's. I understand that a luthier's setup of a fine resonator is the magic touch that is responsible for much of it's quality, so I wanted to know how careful I should be when handling my instrument.
Cheers!

Be careful, but on the other hand I saw someone fall off a stage at a festival in France with National in hand. After picking himself and the guitar up, he strummed it and it was still in tune! Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not, I guess.

Hi Tombak, Good to see you on here and thank you for such kind and positive words. Your guitar is pretty tough. I haven't thrown an MMB'28 around, but I think it would take a lot of punishment to do any damage. However, too much downward pressure on the strings over the coverplate could damaged the cone. But as the cone is replaceable, just don't worry, enjoy your guitar and if it gets a few dents and marks, they will all be part of its character. Shine On Michael.
