Sleep Walk by Santo and Johnny. Classic steel guitar instrumental from the late 1950s played on a Gretsch G9231 Resonator Guitar. Backing created with a tenor ukulele and a ukulele style bass. Tuning EBDGBD low to high. I hope you all enjoy, Mike

Very nice. It is a beautiful tune.
Are you miming to your own playing. I'm asking because it sounds like your guitar is plugged in and very close mic-ed, but I don't see a mic or a lead?

I wondered that too. Seemed a very 'warm' sound,as though it had been amped in some way. Not a criticism, just curious like MM. π€πππΈ

Thank you Bonzo and Michael! It was recorded with an old Zoom Q3HD all in one video/audio recorder. I used it for recording acoustic guitars, Ukuleles etc. I have found when using it on the Resonator guitar it keeps clipping!!!!! This has happened 2/3 times now and I only seem to notice when I mix the audio with the other instruments. I have also noticed that even when the inputs are not overloaded the audio sounds crunchy.....that's the best way I can describe it. I have since changed to a stand alone condenser mic with a separate camera for the video and the sounds are much more natural! If you looked at the other 2 videos I posted on this board the first one South sea moon, was recorded with the condenser mic and us quite natural. The other video Killing the Blues was recorded with the Zoom and although not clipping is crunchy! Mike
