Thanks a lot, I hope you can find one of these fabulous long body. (I'll always remenber once I had one in my hands, not mine of course,...I don't think I could see another one for long; it's just absolute perfection...).
About strings, we must create a new subject, some of us could read your experience with great interest, it could be great!

Hi folks, here's an updated photo of my National ukulele collection:  The style 1 large body is a rare earlyish model with holes in the coverplate insteads of the usual screens. It's the main uke in my new video that I made yesterday, featuring all five Nationals: Hope you like! |

Very cool instruments and music. These National ukuleles are very hard to find. The Style 2 is quite special!
