OMG, oversized fretboard dots would “do my nut in” too !!!!! Feel for ya ! When I got my custom 5-string Beltona Tenor reso uke, I got Steve Evans to put a fretboard marker in the 9th fret rather than the uke-traditional 10th fret. Must have done his and other uke player’s nuts in BUT I needed it there as I’m more familiar with guitar necks PLUS I play it more like a guitar, with a string missing !

Yes, believe me I've tried to think of a way to reduce the size of those dots! LOL!

I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would put a new fretboard on a vintage guitar and change the fret markers! It's the first thing people look at! NRP does this with Vintage Nationals now, all their new fretboard jobs have 5 dots below the 12th fret instead of 3 the that's proper on most 12 fretters....

OMG, again !!! That does my goat in too !!!!!!! Agreed, 100% Sure, if it needs 5 dots for a stronger grip, then fair enough BUT cover the “wrong” ones with matching wood dots ! Then they put rolled F-holes on their Lightning Bolt model ! And don’t start me on the far too narrow etched stripe on the sides of their Style O !!!!!!!!
Apart from that, I respect them. Well actually, maybe they could copy the tailiece shape better !

. Here's a recent Video clip to hear the tone... Sweet. I'm pretty sure she's saying, "Please take me back, and try me one more time."
